About ADM Ukraine
ADM employs more than 850 people in Ukraine and operates an oilseed crushing plant in Illichivsk, a grain terminal in the port of Odessa, five inland and one river silos, and a trading office in Kiev.
In April 2014, ADM completed its acquisition of the remaining stake of Alfred C. Toepfer International, a global merchandiser of agricultural commodities with trading offices throughout Ukraine. Alfred C. Toepfer International was renamed ADM Trading Ukraine to become a key location for ADM’s Ukrainian trading activities. The office based in Kiev, originates grain and sunflower seeds, and trades sunflower oil and meal.
ADM takes pride in being a good citizen of the communities in which we operate. In Ukraine, examples of our commitment are contributions to health care services and facilities at the Illichivsk city hospital and schools.
Each year, ADM participates in the World Food Day with the aim of raising awareness on global food problems and to create a sense of solidarity in the fight against poverty, hunger and malnutrition. Last year the ADM Ukraine team donated non-perishable food products such as flour, vegetable oil and cereals, which were delivered to various charities for distribution.
